Seeding is underway

 After trying to out wait the cloudy & cold weather for a few days, seeding finally began on March 16, and to my renewed amazement, the sprouting began 2 days later. I now feel that spring is on the way!

1st shipment has arrived!

 Today I picked up my 1st shipment of live plants & perennial bare roots. You just have to check out the new photos of succulents & cactus! They are gorgeous!!!

 No matter how many times I repeat the process, I always seem to feel like a childlike amazement when I see the swan neck of a seedling, pushing its way up through the soil as a result of the minute seed I placed days earlier.  With Spring around the corner (at least according to the calendar) it’s hard not to be thinking of spring flowers, Unfortunately, with all this winter weather and snow hanging on, it’s just not quite time to don the gardening gloves and galoshes yet.
